"When I decided to train as a helicopter pilot, I investigated many schools before I made a decision. Ezra's experience in the industry, proven training program, and professional attitude towards helicopter flying convinced me to make my training investment at E-Z Air.
"The knowledge and skills I developed through Ezra's schooling gave me the confidence to achieve my goal and secure a flying job in the helicopter industry. Thank you, Ezra. I couldn't have asked for a better instructor."
Lee Hoyland,
CPL(H), 1998
Pilot, CHC International
"I completed my flight training with Ezra in May of 1995. In July 1995 I started working in the Arctic during the diamond rush, flying long line. This experience opened up more and more opportunities, and I ended up flying Super Pumas and Sikorksky 61s to oil rigs.
"I am currently employed by Transport Canada as a Civil Aviation Inspector - Helicopter Operations, and the holder of an Airline Transport Pilot License - Helicopter (ATPL-H).
"Ezra laid the foundation and I had to build on it. Without a solid foundation and hard work, it would not have been possible."
Paul Minnaar
CPL(H), 1995
Transport Canada Civil Aviation Inspector
"I came to Canada to convert my NZ licence. I had only just got my licence with 175 hours (150 required before flight test in NZ) and hadn't flown for 7 months. I had a possible job lined up over the internet but not confirmed.
"I trained at E-Z Air with Ezra for around 6 weeks and 19 hours before taking and passing the flight test. Ezra provided me with excellent ground school resources to get me through the theory tests and some helpful and insightful tips to improve my flying. Part of the conversion required 8 more hours of instrument flying and I was able to do 5 of those hours on the simulator which was very economical.
"Ezra, Dror and Jennifer were very friendly and helpful and I was sorry to have to leave. I was employed at the employers I had originally contacted 1 week later."

"I started my helicopter training at E-Z Air in January 2005 on the Bell 206. By the time March ended, I was holding my CPL(H). The CFI, Ezra Bavly, and his staff were nothing short of professional and knowledgeable. Their helicopters and training environment were always kept clean and well- maintained. The training I received at E-Z Air was practical, realistic and prepared me for my career. I am now flying an EC-120 with the Edmonton Police Service."
AND SOME OF OUR NOT-SO-RECENT STUDENTS...WHAT ARE THEY UP TO THESE DAYS?
"Just wanted to thank you for the instrument rating. I really enjoyed the flights we did and found your instructional techniques very effective.
"I have taken a job with National Helicopters, to be contracted to the York Regional Police to fly an EC-120B out of Buttonville, Ontario."
"I returned to Canada in 2004 after having flown the UH-60 Blackhawk for over 8 years in the U.S. Military.
"I am very thankful that I chose E-Z Air to convert both my FAA commercial license and my instrument rating. E-Z Air provided me with the structured academic and flight training program that I required to successfully pass all of my Transport Canada exams and flight tests.
"Ezra's instruction was instrumental in helping me prepare for my transition into the civilian aviation industry. After completing about 6 weeks of training at E-Z Air, I passed my first pilot proficiency check and was subsequently hired by a large aviation company.
"I would definitiely recommend E-Z Air to everyone, from the aspiring pilot to the seasoned professional. Anyone will benefit from Ezra's training, regardless of their background or abilities."
