Ground school
We also conduct study skills seminars and Bell 206 ground training.  All ground training is conducted using a wide variety of instructional methods, including traditional lectures, multimedia presentations, videos, and computer-based training.  The Bell 206 ground school is taught by our CFI and our Director of Maintenance, an experienced engineer.

Ground school is conducted full-time for 2 weeks, a minimum of once per calendar  year.  School hours are 0800 to 1700, Monday to Friday.  During these hours students also have access to the study area, our reference library, audio-visual material, and a ground school instructor.

Students may take the Transport Canada written examination after a minimum of 50% of their flight training is completed.  The Chief Flight Instructor will provide his written recommendation when he is satisfied that the student is adequately prepared to pass the exam.
For new commercial students, the first stage of training is achieving a Student Pilot Permit.  Click here to find out more.
